Former Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva says objections would be raised if the Chief Justice Mohan Peiris participates in the court case which determines whether President Mahinda Rajapaksa can contest for a third term at office.
Speaking to BBC Sandeshaya, Silva said that the present CJ joining the President's entourage to Vatican clearly portrays his lack of impartiality.
