A player of the Sri Lanka women's cricket team has reportedly testified before higher authorities of the SLC, affirming that recent reports on sexual bribes sought from female players were true.
Noting that the bribes were not sought directly, the player has said that certain persons of the management have hinted as such and she had to make an huge attempt to evade such advances.
It is said that details on this incident has been collected from 05 senior players of the women's team, the team manager Roshan Iddamalgoda and coach Jeewantha Kulatunga. Two out of the five players have revealed facts on this incident, reports add. Accordingly, several executive level officials have urged higher authorities of the SLC to task the Department of Police to hold further investigations on this regard.
