Malinga to return for New Zealand Odis

Sri Lanka's chief one-day bowler Lasith Malinga will come back to universal cricket towards the last part of the seven-match ODI arrangement in New Zealand in January 2015.

Malinga experienced surgery on a beset left lower leg in September and is at present recovering. He missed Sri Lanka's last two ODI arrangement played against India and England.

"Malinga is even now recouping from surgery and everything is set well as indicated by arrangement. He will return for the last two ODI amusements in New Zealand," guaranteed Sri Lanka mentor Marvan Atapattu.


Malinga, who has been named in Sri Lanka's temporary World Cup squad of 30, has 271 wickets from 177 Odis. Without him Sri Lanka figured out how to beat England 5-2 at home in the wake of losing 0-5 to India.

Suranga Lakmal compensated for Malinga's nonattendance with two telling spells in the last two Odis against England.
