The Presidential Commission is to begin investigating complaints regarding missing people as it received 216 new complaints from the Vavuniya district.
It was revealed that the complaints have been received following inquiries made from Vavuniya and Settikulum Divisional Secretariat offices during the last three days.
Secretary to the Commission, H.W. Gunadasa said that these complaints will be further investigated.
Today will be the last day of recording complaints in the Vavuniya District and Secretary to the commission added that the recording of complaints will be carried out in the Vavuniya Divisional Secretariat office.
