Appointee Minister Nandimithra Ekanayake stops government

Appointee Minister Nandimithra Ekanayake vowed to backing Maithripala Sirisena at the prospective Presidential decision. This was published at a public interview held in Colombo, this evening.

Previous President Chandrika Kumaratunga and Arjuna Ranatunga likewise took an interest for the question and answer session. In 1984, Nandimithra joined the juvenile Sri Lanka Mahajana Party which around then was under the initiative of T.b. Ilangarathne, Vrjaya Kumarathunga and Chandrika Bandaranayake. Nandimithra was perceived by the gathering official for his authority capacities and was selected Party Secretary to the Matale District. In 1989, because of his notoriety, he was designated as a hopeful in Matale District to go up against a solid U.n.p.


bunch which included Mr. Alic Aluwihare. In that decision he was chosen to the Parliament as the S.l.f.p. group pioneer speaking to the Matale District.
