The Voice Against Corruption association has kept in touch with President Maithripala Sirisena requesting that he designate a panel to do a new test into the questionable Treasury bond issue by the Central Bank that saw Governor Arjuna Mahendran being blamed for insider exchanging.
Voice Against Corruption Convener, Wasantha Samarasinghe said the advisory group that was designated by
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe comprised of a few UNPers and there were questions over the determination of the board of trustees that cleared Mahendran.
