The Land Reclamation & Development Corporation had spent a stunning Rs. 75 million on changing over the parental home of previous Defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, to a dedication gallery.
The premises in Weeraketiya incorporate the graves of Gotabaya Rajapaksa's guardians.
The partnership fell under the Defense and Urban Development service.
The venture, named 'Weeraketiya Project' was started on Feb. 17, 2014.
The gallery was opened on Nov. 06, 2014, which denoted the 47th recognition of DA Rajapaksa, the father of Gotabaya, Basil and Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Costs of the gallery, which was assembled utilizing work of the Navy, have been accounted by the Land Reclamation & Development Corporation as takes after :

an) Ornamental fish for lake Rs. 1,000,000
b) Artwork around the lake - Rs. 6,288,800

a) 09 bronze lotus blooms estimated at Rs. 275,000 every - Rs. 3,049,200 (comprehensive of expense)
b) Purchase and establishment of two gems - Rs. 9,240,822
03.
Buy of 33 sun oriented controlled lights and 4 electric fans - Rs. 5,372,075
04.
15,000 9x4 square charnockite stones brought unpaid from UDA - Rs. 4,125,000
The costs for gems and pending installments to the UDA for cut stones are excluded in the Corporation's records.
Despite the fact that these are incorporated, the aggregate expense surpasses Rs. 75 million, even without the incorporation of Navy work costs.
