That is in connection with a complaint received over the millions of rupees spent on the performances at the opening of the Mahinda Rajapaksa port in Magampura.
He was the creative director for the ceremony held on 18 November 2010, and payments made to him are unclear.
An investigation is still underway into the expenses, borne by the Ports Authority.
Channa-Upuli Performance
However, the SLPA media unit says Rs. 15 million had been paid for one of the main items, a dancing performance by Channa and Upuli Wijewardena.
But, they had received only Rs. 7.6 million, it had transpired when they gave statements to the FCID on October 22.
Statements have also been recorded from several SLPA officials, while the bribery commission is conducting a separate investigation.
The FCID says it has received complaints about similar wasteful expenditures during the Rajapaksa regime.
