Court Orders Ban On Sale Of Basil Rajapaksa's Office In Oruthota

Gampaha Magistrate Tikiri K. Jayathilake today requested a prohibition on the deal, exchange or estrangement of an area and a building in Oruthota, beforehand utilized as a decision office by previous Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

The request was given on the Gampaha Lands Commissioner after a solicitation made by the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division.
The FCID educated the court that the area had been brought by the D.A. Rajapaksa Foundation.
