Minister of Justice - Ali Sabry has refuted claims citing that he had resigned from his cabinet ministerial portfolio.
In addition, he had put up a Facebook post, sarcastically remarking that even he was unaware he had resigned and questioned the ethics of local media.
Earlier, it was reported that minister Sabry has tendered his resignation to exert pressure on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to facilitate the burial of Covid-19 victims.
