The Lotus Tower, which is considered to be the tallest tower in South Asia, has been visited by over 100,000 people in the first 15 days after it was opened to the public. It is reported that 11,752 people visited the Lotus Tower on Saturday, which was World Children’s Day. It is also reported that nearly 10,000 people visited the tower yesterday (02). Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Tower Limited, Major General (retired) Pramasad Samarasinghe said that the company managed to generate an income of Rs.2.1 million on September 15, when the Lotus Tower was opened.
The Lotus Tower is open to visitors from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm on weekdays and is open not only to local visitors but also to foreign tourists.
