The ‘master’ of this year’s Budget is the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Democratic Left Front (DLF) Leader MP Vasudeva Nanayakkara said.
MP Nanayakkara said the instructions of the IMF are being implemented in the country, adding that the rulers are focused on implementing these instructions on behalf of the IMF.
Speaking at a news conference held in Colombo yesterday (24), MP Nanayakkara said that in order to provide solutions to the people’s plights, US Dollars that belong to Sri Lanka should be brought into the country from abroad.
However, the MP said that the rulers are not interested in this because it’s their ‘masters’ who are in possession of this wealth.
