Ranil agrees with Maithri on district development councils

Former President Maithripala Sirisena proposed to reintroduce the district development councils instead of the provincial council systems. 
He said this in Parliament today (29).
Responding, President Ranil Wickremesinghe said, “I was listening to your comments on district development councils and I am ready to implement it.”

In response, the former President expressed his thanks and said that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will back the President during this move.
