7 more parties recognized as political parties

The Election Commission has decided to recognize 07 new political parties.

The decision was taken during a recent meeting of the commission, says, chairman – Mr. Nimal G. Punchihewa.
The newly recognised political parties are as follows :

1.United Congress Party

2.Dewana Parapura

3.Sri Lankawe Samaja Prajathanthrawadi Pakshaya

4.Deshapremi Eksath Jathika Pakshaya

5.Bahujana Wiyath Peramuna

6.Eros Democratic Front

7.Democratic People’s Congress
